How Lokul works

From sign-in to check-in — four steps, same as the app.

  1. Sign in

    Use Sign in with Apple or a passwordless email code. Confirm you're 18+.

  2. Set your area

    Allow location while the app is open, or pick a city and discovery radius.

  3. Find & RSVP

    Browse the map or feed. Tap Interested or Going on anything that catches your eye.

  4. Check in on arrival

    At the venue, check in to confirm you're there. Hosts see attendance on their dashboard.

For hosts

Lokul is a passive platform — you run the event, we help people find it. Permits, safety, and accuracy are your responsibility.

  • Lokul Pro Subscription for premium host tools via the App Store.
  • Event Boost One-time purchase to highlight a listing for 24 hours.
  • Host analytics See who marked Going or checked in — name, status, and timestamp.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled 24+ hours before the period ends. Managed through your Apple ID.

When someone checks in

You see their profile, RSVP status, and exact check-in time.

Listings are reviewed

User-submitted events go through moderation before they appear publicly.

Safety & trust

Lokul is for lawful, permitted gatherings — not illegal street takeovers or unpermitted assemblies.

18+ only

Accounts require age confirmation. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Report & block

Flag events, photos, or accounts in-app. Block users from their profile or chat. We review reports within 24 hours.

Moderation

Public listings are screened for spam, fraud, and prohibited content before and after they go live.

Your data

Edit your profile, manage notifications, revoke location in iOS Settings, or delete your account anytime.
